The Department offers a four-year degree program in Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) an annual intake of 60 was started in the year 2008. and two-year P.G. programs in M.Tech VLSI SD with an intake of 18 started in the year 2012. Electronics and Communication Engineering is one of the most popular fields in engineering which applies science and mathematics to address practical problems. Electronics and Communication Engineering, popularly known as ECE, involves designing, developing, testing and maintaining electronic equipment. Electronics and Communication engineers also deal with the production of communication systems.

HOD’s Message
The department strives to train and empower our students who will make better use of engineering principles, techniques and systems. To that end, considerable initiatives have been taken to establish good laboratories in the areas of Electronics, Communication, Microwave, Digital Signal Processing, Microcomputer, Embedded and VLSI design with required hardware and simulation  softwares.
Here, the students are provided with greater exposure in the core areas of Electronics & Communication Engineering .The students are also encouraged to participate in the technical activities apart from the regular curriculum.The students get encouraged by us in improving their skills by different sources to get placed in companies or for better future.
